3 Days Lowland gorillas in the Mist
Day 1- Rwanda-Bukavu
On your arrival at the airport, this tour can be started from Rwanda. you will be met by your Guide from Gemsbok Safaris and transferred to Bukavu in Congo. Drive past the beautiful Rwanda’s rolling hills. Congo –Rwanda boarder at Bukavu. Once done with the visa formalities cross into Congo.
Dinner and overnight stay at Orchids hotel or Exodus, Begonais Hotel.
Day 2 Gorilla Trekking
Enjoy early breakfast board your safari land cruiser and drive for 2-2.5 Hours to Kahuzi-Biege which is the starting point for these primates excursion. Listen to the standard briefing about the gorilla trekking dos and don’ts, later venture into Kahuzi Biega National park
Note; Guests are allowed only 1 hour for observation and photography of the Eastern lowland gorillas. as you watch them playing in the wild.
After this gorilla watching experience, you will return to the park headquarters where you will find the driver waiting for you and straight away you will be driven back to the border and then to Kibuye for a night at moriah hotel
Day 3: Drive to Kigali
On this day, you will wake up very early in the morning and have a cup of tea. Then you will jump on to your safari jeep for the drive back to Kigali if time allows make stop overs to some genocide memorials in Rwanda and later be dropped at the airport Kigali for your flight back hom
